Have you ever walked under a big old tree and felt the temperature drop? That's not your imagination. That's the tree doing what it was designed to do.
We've been paving over the very things that keep us cool, and then wondering why our cities feel like ovens in July. I live in Scottsdale, and I know and feel this personally.
The answer isn't complicated. It never was. So, plant a tree and restore the shade. Let nature do what nature does.
We don't need a high-tech fix. We need to stop removing the one that was already there.
God put the cooling system outside. We just have to stop bulldozing it.
