If You Are Suffering From Turkey Neck Syndrome…
…then you are either a Turkey or you might need some help!
With the start of the holiday social circuit, people are suddenly impatient to get picture-perfect skin. And in an effort to look fantastic, many jump from appointment to appointment, accumulating multiple treatments and procedures.
While it’s tempting to consider going all-in on holiday specials, these in-office treatments are often expensive, painful and time consuming. However, skipping in-office treatments doesn’t mean you can’t get office-like results.
Because you can!
If you are looking for glowing skin but don’t have a week to recover from (or the money for) professional microdermabrasion, try macro exfoliation from the comfort of your bathroom. Using an at-home tool to remove dead skin cells every week is a process that’s painless, affordable and does not require any recovery time. Both options can yield impressive results, so which one would you pick?
Visible results are possible with intelligent daily skincare and healthy habits. This combination can influence up to 80% of your skin’s future. And it’s never too late, or too soon, to start.
Roll into 2014 with great skin, courtesy of our Skintervention Special and save 30%. Receive our patent-pending REDEFINE AMP MD™ System free with the purchase of a REDEFINE Regimen and patent-pending REDEFINE MACRO Exfoliator™. Offer available now through December 31, 2013.

Ready For Halloween With Those Dark Circles Under Your Eyes?
Makeup to give you dark eye circles is flying off the shelves this Halloween. While it’s helpful for achieving your best “zombie” look, let’s face it: Some of us don’t need the help.
Dark under-eye circles can be caused by everything from lack of sleep and a poor diet to chronic rubbing from allergies, loss of fat or thinning of skin caused by sun exposure and aging.
If sufficient beauty sleep doesn’t help, watch what you eat. Salty foods and alcohol cause water retention, resulting in puffy, baggy eyes. You can also try sleeping with your head propped up to limit under-eye bags. If you have allergies, take an antihistamineto minimize your allergic reaction—and the itching, rubbing and redness that come with it. And if you still find yourself waking up puffy, place ice packs on your eyelids or gently massage the area.
To fight the signs of aging around the eyes, use an eye cream that not only reduces the appearance of puffiness and dark circles but that also contains optical diffusers to brighten the area. Protect the delicate skin around eyes daily with sunscreen and polarized sunglasses.
For a more aggressive approach, see your dermatologist for other methods that can fill in the hollowness around the eyes.
By keeping your eyes open to a range of causes and treatments, you’ll prevent them from looking ghoulish on November 1st and beyond.

Fact or Myth? Combining Different Skincare Products Will GetYou Better Results…
Did you know … Applying skincare is like baking?
What’s the difference between a pancake and a souffle? While the ingredient lists may be very similar (eggs, flour, milk) the way you combine them leads to very different outcomes.
The same is true in skincare; different products containing the same ingredients can lead to very different outcomes, depending on what you combine them with. Making up your own “recipe” by combining different skincare products can minimize results. You might unintentionally double-up on ingredients or layer products that cancel each other out.
Signs that products are not compatible include crumbling off your skin, a sticky, unsavory texture, and even redness, itching and flaking. To get consistent results, use products that are designed to work together to not only treat, but also to prevent your specific skin concerns.
Stick to the recipe to get picture-perfect results.
