Fact or Myth: My product label contains a specific ingredient, so it will deliver the results I have heard about.

Real ingredients get real results!

Not necessarily. For an ingredient to be effective in a product, it must be used at clinically effective levels. Sometimes ingredients are only formulated for “label claims,” meaning the product contains the ingredient but not at the level that has been proven effective. While it may be difficult to determine if there is a sufficient level of an ingredient in the product to be efficacious (effectiveness), watch out for products that advertise the benefits of the ingredient rather than the benefits of the total product. In virtually all cases, it is not just about the individual ingredient but rather the combined benefits of the  ingredient, the application and the formulation.

So Much To Choose From

Skincare is not one-size-fits-all. To achieve results, it is imperative to find a skincare regimen that meets your specific needs. Identify your most important skincare issue and find a regimen that is clinically proven to address that concern.  Please note, it takes a systematic approach that includes a cleanser, treatment and sunscreen to truly achieve visible results. When you combine the right ingredients, in the right formulations, in the right order to address your specific concern, the results can be amazing.
